Once you have arrived at Montserrat Monastery, it is still possible to go even further up Montserrat mountain to Sant Joan. This is an area where you can walk around the top of the mountain and visit some of the hermitages.

For information on the funicular de Sant Joan, the mountain side train that will bring you to the start of a Sant Joan walk, see our Guide to the Funicular de Sant Joan.
